Thank you for the recommendation. You're right my hair is naturally curly. However, I want to wear it curly now. I used to get the keratin treatments and Brazilian blowouts, and then use a straightener, but I want to just let it do it's natural thing. I've spent 5 years learning how to make curly hair look naturally straight, but I have no clue how to make curly hair look good while curly. Is their a way I can get my curly hair to look like Richard Madden or Adrian Grenier? Would the best path be to get a blowout or Keratin and not straighten it and then it might be wavy or would it be to use some gel while my hair is wet and use my finger to curl the hairs with product.

Thank you

Liam, gotta hate the frizz! Try <a href="http://www.sephora.com/hairdresser-s-invisible-oil-P375391?om_mmc=Googlepla,_requestid=42976,cm_mmc=us_search-_-GG-_-pla-_-,ci_src=17588969,ci_sku=1438019" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil</a>. A dime-sized amount applied to your hair when styling will dramatically reduce the fluffiness and frizz. Hope that helps!

I have chin length wavy curly hair similar to this http://menshair.about.com/od/picturegalleries/ig/Curly-Styles/curly07.htm

(slightly shorter on the sides)

My hair only looks like this after a wash on the same day. When i wake up its all frizzy and fluffy. Is there anything I can use when I wake up to make it look better again

cheers

It sounds like your hair is naturally curly. Depending on the level of straightness you're going for you may be able to get away with a strong styling product coupled with a decent prep of blow-dry straightening. Try Gatsby's Technical Wax. It's one of the strongest waxes on the market and will keep your hair in place. It's a matte product, but you can always couple it with a pomade for a bit of shine. Then there's always the salon route of getting your hair straight-permed.

A simple blow dryer and combing, followed by any one of the matte products should do the trick without the grease or shine. Follow it up with some hair spray to give the hair a little more volume and hold for that quiff style. Hope that helps!

Agreed, there is something about that old world look that contemporary style will quite capture the same way! As for dressing up, we say dress the way you want and let the environment adapt to you! ;)

A friend of mine wore this knot to my wedding yesterday and it was one of the most talked about things during & afterward... besides the whole marriage thing, of course.

hi. I have thick hair and are currently going for the Justin bieber quiff (as many have called it). I don't want a shiny, greasy and hard finish but something which looks natural but keeps its hold.
I was looking at the matte products?
also can you tell me how I should go around achieving the style? blow dry? use irons? which products are the best and when I should use them?
Thanks a lot!

Hey,

I have middle eastern/ greek curly hair. It's curly and frizzy. Also it's 6 inches long on top but my sides are 1 inch max. I used to always shave my sides and straighten the top to create a 50's clean cut look. Now I'm trying to grow my hair out but I find using Grants Gold Pomade and Lock Stock and Barrel Putty just don't do the job, my hair looks dry and curly. Should I try a gel and if so which one?

Thank you
