Welcome to the Black Lapel Concierge Service. We know that buying custom clothing online is a new concept to some of you and naturally, you'll have some questions along the way. New or experienced, our goal is to make sure that you are entirely comfortable with the process so that we can ensure a completely satisfactory experience! Measurement Help
First, you'll need a measuring tape (of course!). If you don't have one, we'll send you one for free! Just go here to submit a request.
With the help of a friend, you can get your full body measurements taken in approximately 15 minutes. Simply create an account and then click "My Measurements" link on the left sidebar to go through our easy-to-follow measurement wizard where we'll walk you through every single measurement with videos and additional written instructions.

Not quite confident in the ability of your friend to take your measurements? Don't worry because our measurements videos were specifically made for people who've never taken measurements before. As long as you follow the instructions carefully, your measurements will be accurate. And remember, our Flawless Fit Promise ensures that you'll get the exact fit you want. Second Opinion Service
The day has arrived and your fresh Black Lapel threads are here. And now you've tried everything on... but maybe you're not sure if it fits you the way it should. No worries, we're here to help! All you have to do is send us some pictures of yourself in your new custom clothes and our team of style experts will provide you with an honest assessment. Just grab a camera (or camera phone) and a friend and follow these instructions:
Follow these steps for Suits and Blazers:
- Stand approximately 5 to 6 feet away and take the pictures at chest height with arms relaxed at your side
- Take a front profile picture with your jacket buttoned up (top button only for 2-button suit and middle button for 3-button suit)
- Take a side profile picture with your jacket buttoned up
- Take a back profile picture with your jacket buttoned up
- Optional: take any other profile photos or close ups as needed to show any other fit issues
Don't forget that we offer a Flawless Fit Promise! Our goal is to make sure you look your best. After all, the better you look in our clothes, the better our clothes will look.
